Customer Support - centurytel.net Email Configuration

We're excited to share with you that effective September 14, 1999, we will be changing our Internet name to: centurytel.net. This name change will bring all our CENTURYinter.net and PTInet.net customers under the same name. Don't worry, your current address will continue to work for a year. But the sooner you switch your email settings to the new address (see below) the smoother the transition will be.

Changing your email address and settings will be a snap! Simply change your current email address from (yourname@centuryinter.net) or (yourname@ptinet.net) to your new email address (yourname@centurytel.net). For specific instructions please select your email program below.

If you are unsure of how to determine your email program version, open your email program, click "Help" on the top-line menu and select "About [your email program]."

Netscape Communicator 4.0x
Netscape Navigator 3.x
Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x or Outlook 98
Outlook Express for Macintosh
Internet Mail
Eudora Pro 4.x
Eudora Light or Pro 3.x

If your email program is not listed or you have a version that is not listed, please call Internet Client Support at: 1-800-809-1410. Please let the specialist know that you received an email regarding the new email changes and that you have an email program/version that was not listed in the online instructions.
